Aim: How to write an quadratic equation given their ROOTS?

HW: Do side 2 of worksheet

Lesson Review: Just remember that this lesson is working backwards of Solving an Quadratic Equation. Example: Given that the roots (solutions) to an Quadratic Equation is 5 and 3.
Step 1: We write : x = +5 and x = +3
Step 2: then x - 5 = 0 and x - 3 = 0
Step 3: then take each and write as a product (x - 5)(x - 3) = 0
Step 4: then multiply using FOIL x square - 3x - 5x + 15 = 0
Step 5: Answer x square - 8x + 15 = 0
